Galactic Civilizations III Review

It’s difficult to wrap your head around how large the universe is. It’s one thing to say that the distance from the here to the moon is ten times the circumference of the Earth, but that figure is incomprehensible. It’s hard enough to wrap our tiny minds around the notion that our planet, our home, is finite, much less the preposterous distances between the stars. Galactic Civilizations III understands and fluently wields those disparate perspectives–the mundane and human as well as the astronomical–to craft a game that manages to bring the tiniest shuttlecraft, the mightiest quasar, and all the distant mysteries that lie between into a single coherent vision.

As you might suspect from the name, Galactic Civilizations is a game that, while inspired by Sid Meier’s semin…

Gearbox Joins Companies Considering Shift From Texas Following Anti-Trans Legislation

Following the passage of Texas Senate Bill 29, which requires public school students to take part in athletic competitions based on their assigned gender at birth, a coalition of Texas businesses have joined forces to oppose the open discrimination of transgender youth. Among these businesses are Amazon, Dell, HP, IBM, Microsoft, PayPal, and Gearbox Software, the studio behind the Borderlands series. According to David Najjab, director of institutional partnerships at Gearbox Software, the company is considering shifting production away from Texas if the state continues to pursue anti-trans legislation.

The news was first reported by NBCDFW, a local television station in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In its report, the station provided a copy of the business group’s open letter to s…

Horizon Forbidden West War Totem Guide- How To Find The God Of War Collectibles

The thing about big first-party PlayStation games is that they love to acknowledge each other, giving fans some fun callbacks and Easter eggs to hunt down within their games. Horizon Forbidden West follows in the footsteps of Ghost of Tsushima, which threw in a Horizon Forbidden West armor set to go with the big PlayStation Easter eggs in its Iki Island expansion. In Horizon, there are some extremely tough-to-find PlayStation collectibles, in this case referencing Sony Santa Monica’s God of War and God of War: Ragnarok.

Though the three God of War Easter eggs are called War Totems, and while they’re tracked on your Collectibles tab in the Notebook menu, they’re not marked by any quests in the game. The only way to find them is to wander around certain areas of the map, where you m…

Klinsmann ponders US visa

United States coach Jurgen Klinsmann said he may apply for American citizenship sometime in the future.

The 48-year-old former Germany international has been based in the USA for a number of years and took control of the national side in 2011, after a year in charge at Bayern Munich and two at the Mannschaft helm.

It is quite possible that in the future I will take American nationality. It would take a long time for it to be possible and it is a lengthy process, Klinsmann told Bild.

Football is not the top sport here. We may have improved and caught up with other sports, but I can still live relatively anonymously.

Klinsmann s side face Germany in May and it is a fixture he is looking forward to as he bids to show the world just how much progress his …

There s no rivalry with Hugo. At every club, for 21 seasons, there s competition for places. As I said before when I signed the two-year co…

Nancy hotshot set for Premier League move

French daily that Nancy midfielder Lossemy Karaboue could move to the English Premier League in January.

Karaboue, 24, has been the only bright spot in an otherwise very disappointing campaign for Nancy and the French club are expected to cash in on the player’s impressive showings.

L’Equipe understands that Premier League strugglers Aston Villa and Reading are both showing interest in the talented midfielder.

Karaboue, who came through the youth ranks at Lyon, spent three seasons at Sedan before joining Nancy in the summer of 2011.
